About Jude
Jude joins the Avalon faculty following a career in education in his homeland of Nigeria. A graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he obtained a B.A. in Education, he then completed mandatory participation in the National Youth Service Corps. After teaching for a year at Dominican Nursery and Primary School in Lagos, he matriculated at the University of Ibadan Nigerian where he excelled in Language and Identity research and obtained a Master’s degree in English Language studies. Prior to coming to the United States, he taught for three years at Whitesands School Lekki Lago, Nigeria.
Jude enjoys helping young people develop an appreciation of the fruits of education, and, in his spare time, watching professional soccer. He lives in Hyattsville, MD.
