About Francisco
Francisco Zuniga joins the faculty at the Avalon School as a fifth grade homeroom teacher. He spent the last 15 years teaching middle school Language Arts in the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Arlington and the Archdiocese of Washington. Francisco holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Florida International University and a Master of Arts, also in philosophy, from George Mason University. He has taught philosophy at Montgomery College, and he contributes to online journals Crisis Magazine and Intellectual Takeout as a freelance writer.
Francisco lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife and five daughters, two of which attend Brookewood. They are expecting their sixth child in May.
