Avalon~Brookewood Theater
Each winter, Brookewood and Avalon students tryout for specific parts in a play produced by the school's drama director. Students from grades 6 and up are allowed to tryout. Past plays produced include: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Our Town, Cheaper by the Dozen, An Ideal Husband, Twelfth Night, and more. Students become familiar with plays first through their literature courses, studying Shakespeare's plays (and sometimes acting them out in class) starting in the middle school. |
